| Phoebe Heretz Day and AgeEach dayas the sun departs
 and the street lamps awaken

 An entire spectrum of color
 warms the darkening Earth
as the eternal blaze slips away

I see a Day and Age
 written across the sky
 in every shade of evening

Our hearts lie in the orange glow
our fears in the deepening blues
And the glittering stars hold our lonliness, refusing to let go.

Why the sky reflects our true self, I do not know-
But its divine vastness surrounds every creature
uniting us all under its universal blanket of fear and love.
