Jenny Hopkins

June

Rosy cheeks
Painted by the wind
Large red smile
The rain falls
And breathes life into everything

Soft palms caked with dirt
Pink dress
Splattered with mud
But she doesn’t care
She is free

A yellow daisy peeks out
Of her shiny black hair
Bounces up and down
To the rhythm of her feet
Dancing joyously
