Wanying Zhang A FlowerA single flower has plenty of power. A symbol of life and beauty, sprouts from the soil of humanity. A sign of love and peace, warmth that will never cease. It saddens when pollution hits everywhere, as smoke and guns saturate the air. The flower must regretfully surrender, due to the world’s bodacious blunder. Giving up its flowering beauty, realizing the ruthless reality. It bends down to the contaminated soil, spoiled with endless chemicals and oil. Never be able to lift its head again, thanks to the merciless working of men.
