Mirror World

Tears,
falling diamonds.
Water runs down the glass.

Reflection staring,
floating,
trapped,
separated
by a thin glass barrier,
imprisoned in the mirror-world.

Branches,
holding up the sky
like fingers.

She looks in,
longing
for reality.

I can stay here forever.
But – flick the light switch,
the glass darkens.

Her world is gone.
