The Pool

In my house after school,

I see the neighbor’s pool.

From my window in the second floor,

So I run downstairs and out the door.

I reach for his gate,

Thinking that it’s fate,

Since his gate is unlocked

And I’m feelling extremely hot.

Although he isn’t home,

His house is never left alone.

His maid is incredibly near,

Just her sight brings me fear.

Even so I decide to jump in,

And take a quick swim.

Now soaked and refreshed, I start running home,

Halfway there I check my pocket and realize I forgot my phone.
