David Nardella The Dream I Had... It was a lonely night, I was looking at the fully lit moon, Which looked like a lion in the jungle, Fierce, mighty and superior among others, Suddenly it put me in a daze… My general awakened me suddenly, Bang! The bullet whizzed by my earlobe, I was standing behind the wall staring at the millions of brutal soldiers attacking, I was a confused young soldier fighting against the cruel Nazis, I am an 18 year old, who was barely eligible for war, I heard the commander saying, “Pull back soldiers, Pull Back!” Yet the enemies were still attacking at the wall, I held my helmet tight, I saw soldiers falling left and right, I was still up fighting for honor and will, My companion says, “Hit the deck! Bang!” The sound of the bullet into my helmet, Seconds later, I hear the beep, beep, beep of my alarm clock.
