Brought Back Home

I was brought back home by the sights that day
By the windswept beach
The open sky
And the everlasting road ahead

I was brought back home by the smells by the day
By the sweet scent of tree sap
The crisp sea salt
And the blossoming flowers

I was brought back home by the love that day
From my friends and role models
My friends
And the strong bike below me
