When you close your eyes,
An interesting phenomenon occurs.
Your brain goes into overdrive,
Colors begin to swirl and images emerge in your mind.

You see things you never knew existed:
Flying carpets and talking books debating over their writers.
Maybe in the corner you see your old imaginary friend
You thought ran away in fourth grade.

You’re able to jump over buildings,
Walk on water,
And even camp out on the moon.

Your mind begins to create images and in the blink of an eye
You’re in another world.
But just as soon as it begins, it ends.
The harsh ring of the clock alerts you, awakens you
Pulling you out of the wondrous world that has just been created,
Fading the world back to normal

Telling you, your time is up…
