Andy Molgaard The Best MedicationTurn the speakers up as loud as they go,
Let the noise fill my ears.
Life is good, the music lets me know.
It shields me from my fears.
It picks me up when I’m feeling down.
It tells me stories new and old.
It keeps me smiling, never lets me frown.
It turns my heart into gold.
I sit alone and just close my eyes,
And let the music do the thinking.
I let it decipher my truths from lies,
And let it keep my heart from sinking.
I stop the music and let it sink in deep.
I am revived. I can finally sleep.
