Winter’s Luminance

The trees are covered with snow
And they sparkle and twinkle beautifully.
The frost-covered earth emits a glow
And I sit inside, observing the world’s magnificence comfortably.

With a warm cup of cocoa in my hands,
I stare outside in awe and admiration.
The icy hills and resplendent lands
Draw my interest and uplift me with elation.

Like an artist who revels in the creation of a masterpiece
Or an author who finally writes the perfect sentence,
I feel the same sense of happiness, a sense of release
When I look outside and see the breathtaking ambiance.

Winter is a season of luminance and joy and giving
And that is what makes this time of year so alluring.
