Poem

My handwriting has changed.
I noticed it--just today
I was taking notes and notes and notes and notes
and I was distracted by the snow outside
and also by the fact that I have tests tomorrow
history, and bio too...
that's when I noticed it--
My handwriting has changed.
I connect my letters
because it requires far too much work
to lift up the pencil
letters that are supposed to be small come out big
and visa versa
I don't care if I've dotted the "i"
and I hardly have time to cross the "t"
heck, I can hardly find
the time
to rhyme
It's quite noticeable
that since September
My handwriting has changed.
